We purchased a Burley bike trailer and made a homemade duct tape and tarp (I’m serious!) cover to save some money. That cover was a joke: it blew away in a strong wind and fell apart after a few month’s use. On the other hand, the actual Burley cover fits snugly and protects our trailer from wind, sun, and rain. My only complaint is that it doesn’t fully cover the trailer arm and hitch, so we’ve gotten a small amount of rust damage.

What can I say. We have a Burley Solo and it keeps the dust and grime off it. It’s pretty big, and has an elasticated bottom, so covers the wheels and goes partially underneath. Only thing I don’t like is ‘Burley’ in silver letters – we have a communal garage in our apartment block and I wanted this to be as discrete as possible – so a shiny logo does shout out ‘steal me’ (or at least have a peek underneath).
